Karagai-Bulak is located almost at the very beginning of the gorge. It is intensively used for grazing cattle. At the very beginning of it there are buildings of the former pioneer camps, one of which is well preserved and it is easy to rent a room there. There is a forest house in the gorge, which in summer is used as a kymys treatment facility. This short gorge has a beautiful forest that grows almost up to the most non-categorical pass Karagai-Bulak at at altitude of 2,530 m above the sea, through which you can walk to the neighboring Tuyuk gorge of Issyk-Ata.
