Kok-Moinok Canyons are named after a small village called Kok-Moinok, located at the Boom Gorge. There are many yellow-red sandstone meandering paths, from 10 – 70 metres deep. Thanks to the nearby Chu river, you can enjoy the picturesque scenery full of bright colours of growing bushes (that is why the area is idea for photographers ). The river flows along the plain at an altitude of 1,550 m above sea level. The length of the canyons varies from 100 m to 2.5 km.

DAY 1 | A one-day hike in the canyons of Kok-Moinok - a hike, picnic, return to the Parking the bus – transfer to Bishkek. Departure: Non-categorical approach of primary and secondary level of training and requires basic skills of being in the mountains. Equipment-good mountain boots, jacket windbreaker with a hood, sunglasses, a baseball cap (cap), a cap, a backpack 25-30L.,and track sticks. Preferably (but not necessarily) to have sunscreen and a raincoat. - Possible presence of children on the trip of 12 years and older, strictly from parents." |
