The Raspberry Gorge is the closest gorge to Bishkek. Before It used to be very popular, because regular municipal bus transports comes here However, because of easier access to the others mountainous areas, less people is attracted to go there. A small brook flows at the bottom of the gorge. Although the brook is much more shallow, it often flows over the path, which can complicate hiking in the gorge. The gorge is narrow, different from the others by rapidly changing landscapes. The start point is at a distance of 2 km from the Holiday House (1,500 m above the sea level) at the end of a small Malinovka village (5.8 km) . It starts at an altitude of 2,300 m. There are several small waterfalls near one to another, but the first one is quite far from the beginning of the gorge. The slopes of the gorge are low but steep covered by dense grass and thorny bushes. The archa trees also grow here, and also some pine grove were planted here by the local forestry long time ago.
