The hut of Ratsek is located on moraines of the gorge AK-SAI (side gorge of Ala-Archa gorge) at a height of 3300m n.m.
Razek Vladimir I. (1918-1980), by whom this cabin is named was a Soviet alpinist, honored master of sports of the USSR, instructor-methodologist, winner of the USSR championship in class on mountaineering in high-altitude climbing in the 1950’s. He was awarded by 12 medals, including “For military merit” and “For victory over Germany”. He started alpinism in 1936. He very actively participated and organized many climbs (including the year) to the peaks of Soviet Kirghizia (especially on top of Win), Uzbekistan, Turkestan, Iran and also a training for climbers ( including military). Until 1969 Razak was the Deputy commander of the Turkestan Military District for the mountain training, and finished his career as Lieutenant Colonel. His name is given to several peaks in the Tien Shan, the Pamirs, the house-Museum in Uzbekistan and mountain hut in Kyrgyzstan, as he initiated the construction when he headed the Kyrgyz club of mountaineering and tourism in the late 30-ies.
Not categorically hike in the average level of training and requires basic skills of being in the mountains. Equipment-good mountain boots, jacket windbreaker with a hood, sunglasses, a baseball cap( cap), a cap, a backpack 25-30L. and track sticks. Preferably (but not necessarily) to have sunscreen and a raincoat.
