The AK-SAI waterfall with a height of 40 m is located at an altitude 2860 m above sea level.m. at a distance of 4.7 km from Ala-Archa camp. To get there, you need to take a path starting 10 m from the accommodation camp and going to the left. After 1.5 km you reach two huge rocks lying on the steep slope of the gorge AK-SAI. Tourists usually call them ‘stones Taras’ or simply ‘Taras’. Then the trail goes on the East, firstly with a small uniform elevation, and then with a slight descent reaching the river Sharkaratma.
After crossing the river the trail continues to the Creek, AK-SAI waterfall on the other side. Shadow of the small woods is the best place for a short break. The waterfall is not far away from this point: approximately 150 m of walking and 100m of very steep slope. The path ends in a scree of the large stones.
